Comprehensive Job Overview: As the Pulmonary Section Chief, you will lead a team of physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers while continuing your clinical responsibilities. Your main duties will include:
Work Environment: This position encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a rapidly expanding facility that provides exceptional care to a predominantly older male veteran population with complex medical conditions.
Team Structure: You will lead a team consisting of 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), 11 physicians, and 4 Registered Nurses (RNs). Collaboration with the Respiratory Therapy departments and Medicine Service Leadership is essential.
