**About the role** As a **Senior Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Developer** , you will make an impact by designing and implementing tailored Salesforce solutions for financial institutions. You will be a valued member of the **Technology & Engineering** team and work collaboratively with solution architects, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. **In this role, you will:** + Lead technical design sessions and architect scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. + Develop and customize FSC applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools. + Design and implement integrations with external systems and financial data sources using REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools like MuleSoft. + Configure FSC components, customize data models, and manage business logic and security settings. + Oversee deployment processes and implement CI/CD practices to ensure smooth delivery. + Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development best practices. + Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to refine requirements and ensure alignment. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to FSC implementations and integrations. **Work model:** We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Dallas, TX. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered:** + 5 to 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, and APIs. + Deep expertise in Financial Services Cloud, including its data model and applications for wealth, insurance, and banking. + Proven experience integrating Salesforce with cloud and on-premise systems. + Experience working within Agile frameworks and tools like Jira or Copado. + Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. **These will help you stand out:** + Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II. + Salesforce Certified Financial Services Cloud Consultant. + Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform App Builder. + Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio tools. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $83,600 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. **Benefits:** Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off 401(k) plan and contributions Long-term/Short-term Disability Paid Parental Leave Employee Stock Purchase Plan Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
