Warehouse Picker/Packer

Staff Management | SMX is hiring Warehouse Picker/Packers across multiple shifts for our premier client, Callaway Golf - a global leader in sporting goods. This role is a great opportunity for long-term employment. In this material handler role, jobs include picking, packing, assembly, shipping, receiving, unloading, and other general labor based job duties.

Shift Information: Monday - Friday (Saturdays & Sundays required if scheduled during peak season)

1st shift: 6:00AM - 6:00PM

Hours subject to change due to mandatory overtime and range between 8-12 hours (10-12 hours during peak).

Job Responsibilities

• Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is desired but not required
• Training is provided to all new associates
• Order picking with an RF Scanner, print and place labels to scan
• Perform general labor and support to multiple warehouse departments
• Required to lift (up to 60lbs) repetitively, sort, stack boxes and handle other general duties as assigned to receive or process orders for shipment
• Able to read, count accurately, and follow verbal and written directions in English
• Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve Distribution Center goals
• Able to stand and/or walk for the duration of 8-10 hour shift
• Warehouse is NOT a climate controlled facility
• Candidate must have the ability to read and understand English instructions for safety and training purposes
• Will be expected to cross-train in other departments within the warehouse

Associate Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Background Check
• Able to Lift 60 pounds
• Drug Test
• Stand for Shift Duration
• Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.50 - $16.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
