Video Production Specialist

MG Lomb 3D & Interactive is seeking a Video Production Specialist to join our team. We are seeking candidates with strong video editing and production skills. Candidates must have excellent creative skills (layout, design, style and composition) and the ability to work independently, to fulfill projects from conceptualization through final work.

MG Lomb is an experienced agency of 28 years. We create and develop animated and/or live action videos, interactive user experiences, gamification and highly realistic animations for marketing. We also support a variety of other creative and marketing tools, including VR. Our clients are mostly multinational companies, typically in the technology sector, but also consumer-focused companies. As part of our close-knit team, this position will primarily challenge the selected candidate to transform raw video and/or animation footage into highly refined product videos, as well as to participate creatively in a variety of interactive content development.

Our work environment is creative but focused, with a wide range of clients from industries including aerospace & defense, biopharmaceutical, industrial automotive, manufacturing and consumer products. The variety of work keeps it interesting, and working on several projects simultaneously is the norm.

MG Lomb creates a variety of types of videos for manufacturing and technology companies. We do not require a person to film videos. Rather, we are seeking a skilled and experienced creative professional to develop new videos, using existing video/animated content that has been supplied by other professionals. Also required is proven experience with application of musical scores, narration and onscreen text. Further required is the ability to plan, storyboard, review and refine videos while working directly with the clients. The videos we produce may be comprised of: live action video; 3D animation; or 2D stylized motion graphics.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are critical to the position. To interview we will need to see samples of your original work. Responsibilities are described below:

Design & Creative Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field

• Proficiency with Adobe CS (Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)

• Possess strong skills with video, design, color theory, typography, and composition techniques.

• Competency with creative and graphic design principles from concepting and prototyping through final production and mechanical delivery.

• Proficiency in creating visual concepts, presenting to agency Creative Director and to Clients.

• Strong ability with technical, creative and problem-solving skills related to the practice of video production, multimedia and graphic design.

• Ability to take abstract concepts, information, and data and turn it into appealing, easy-to-understand visual communication tools (video, interactive, etc.).

• Experience with motion graphics, 2D animated content, and multimedia design.

• Strategic creative thinking, with ability to understand client needs and recommend professional solutions

Project Management Requirements:

• Manage multiple projects, from intake through delivery. Assist in setting and adjusting schedules. Track and report on project progress. Work with external vendors to coordinate successful support. Archive work. Review and presents work internally, for approval and to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

• Work directly with agency's Creative Director to maintain fiscal control over assigned projects to keep them within budget while maintaining the highest possible level of quality.

• Collaborate with fellow agency creatives on a regular basis regarding both client work and agency's own branding, marketing and social media needs.

SCHEDULE: Fulltime (40 hours range) – Salary Exempt: Weekends as needed that resonate with our audience!

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
