Job Title: Registered Nurse – Dialysis (RN Dialysis)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing safe and effective hemodialysis treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring high-quality care. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating Fresenius dialysis machines and a strong commitment to patient-centered service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals receiving hemodialysis treatment.
• Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis, including monitoring vital signs, fluid status, and vascular access.
• Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot Fresenius dialysis machines; prior experience with Fresenius equipment is required.
• Administer prescribed medications and observe patients for any adverse reactions.
• Document assessments, treatment details, and clinical notes accurately in the EMR.
• Respond quickly to any dialysis-related complications or emergencies.
• Follow infection control policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines (CMS, OSHA, HIPAA).
• Educate patients and families on dialysis care, dietary guidance, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with nephrologists, dialysis technicians, and the broader care team to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in staff training, quality improvement activities, and continuing education.

Certificates / Licenses:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice (required).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required.
