Job Description\n

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate the MRI machine efficiently, ensuring patient comfort throughout the scanning procedure, and coordinate with physicians for timely results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods is essential.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
\n
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
\n
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
\n
• Insert IVs when necessary for tests.
\n
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
\n
• Perform patient care tasks as needed.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Two (2) years of experience in MRI technology.
\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) is required.
\n
• New York license is mandatory.
\n
• GE scanner experience is essential to be considered.
\n
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is preferred.
\n
• Certification through ARRT or a similar organization is highly desired.
\n

\n\nSchedule\n

This position requires weekend overnights, as well as availability for holidays, on call, and callback as per unit needs.
