POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Reservations Agent at 30A Luxury Vacations, you are the first point of contact, and our resident expert in making 30A vacation dreams a reality. 

Your role is to be our guests' welcoming and knowledgeable guide from beginning to end. This means you will answer all inquiries, accurately make reservations and recommendations, and assist with any questions, needs, or issues that may arise during a stay. To ensure each stay is seamless, you need to be a great team player who can multi-task and coordinate across departments such as maintenance, housekeeping and property management to ensure the guests' or owners' requests are met with as little interruption to their stay as possible.

You will also follow up with guests after an issue has been addressed and after departure to continue building a relationship that will encourage high ratings and repeat bookings. Feedback will also provide invaluable insight into improving our performance and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all guest calls, emails, and texts are answered promptly and professionally.
  • To ensure guest satisfaction, work closely and effectively with the property management, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to address guests' concerns.
  • Ensure follow-ups are performed on any guest concerns or issues and find ways to help improve the company's performance by providing internal feedback and suggestions.
  • Coordinate the return of "Lost and Found" items with the housekeeping team
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude with all guests, owners, and co-workers 
  • Perform other duties as necessary or requested by management 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in reservation sales preferred (happy to train the right candidate); familiarity with VRBO, Escapia, Breezeway, and BeHome247 highly desirable. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Knowledge of the area will be beneficial. 
  • Self-starter with initiative, including the ability to anticipate guest or operational needs with a consistently warm and friendly attitude. 
  • Reliable transportation is necessary; must be dependable and punctual, with a trustworthy and reliable character at all times. 
  • Computer proficiency is required, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with an Apple MacBook is preferred.
  • Able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, exercise sound judgment, and maintain strong attention to detail.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $18 - $22 per hour based on experience and achievement

Bonus: Based on performance
