Recruiter, Managing Director of Specialized Recruiting Group in Raleigh-Durham, NC

Specialized Recruiting Group is a seeking a Systems Integration Engineer for a full-time role in the Durham / Chapel Hill area.

We're looking for an engineer to support the design, build, and installation of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) systems. Prior experience with CVD systems is not required. We're just looking for a multifaceted engineer who can support software and electrical integration for existing and new tool designs.

This is a full-time position directly with our client (no contracting or probationary period). The role offers a compensation of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications, as well as a robust benefits package that includes a matching 401(k).

Responsibilities Include:

• Direct and provide hands?on support of electrical and software elements during manufacturing of our Chemical Vapor Deposition systems.
• Direct support for electrical and RF test for manufacture of existing system designs.
• Support existing electrical designs (at subsystem integration level) and improve or replace electrical designs for new systems through modification of electrical schematics and component selection.
• Support existing software, which is a supervisory application developed in LabWindows CVI (C/C++), and Beckhoff TwinCAT I/O and TwinSAFE, running on an embedded PC (Win10 LTSC).
• Participate and support R&D projects
• This position will require active participation in the assembly and testing of equipment in the first 1.5 to 2 years.
• This position will require limited travel to customer sites for initial installation (including international travel).

Desired Qualifications:

• B.S. Electrical or Software Engineering, or relatable science and technology degree.
• Knowledge of generally acceptable wiring practices for AC power, DC power and control signal distribution in equipment, and ability to identify and apply required standards.
• Adaptable and quick learner.
• Experience with basic electrical test and debug methods (Multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Experience and interest in RF/Microwave hardware or test methods is a plus but not required. This includes knowledge of and/or experience with RF Power meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers.
• Knowledge of and experience with software development in a structured language. Programming C/C++ is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of or experience with LabWindows CVI is a plus.
• Knowledge of Beckhoff I/O and TwinCAT and TwinSAFE technologies is a plus.
