Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and support to the Shipping Supervisor in the preparation and packaging of finished products for shipment.
• Operate a commercial company truck with flatbed and gooseneck trailer attachment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently. Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Accurately read and use a standard tape measure.
• Possess effective and clear communication skills.
• Project a positive and professional attitude in the plant.
• Maintain a composed, calm demeanor in a fast-paced work environment and when interacting with other employees, carriers, and customers.
• Conform to and comply with Company's dress code.
• Ability to work with nail gun, wood saw, and other electric and/or handheld tools.

Physical Demands:

• Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull, up to 75 pounds on an infrequent basis
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Licenses and other requirements:

• Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
• Must provide a current DMV driving record upon request.
