Purpose of Position Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for a Citation XLS aircraft based in Wheeling, Illinois, at KPWK airport. This is a three-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, flying part 91 and 135. This position requires residing within driving distance of PWK airport. The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner, complying with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience. Tasks and Responsibilities Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight: Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements, completes flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks, utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology, complies with SOPs, completes pre-flight tasks, monitors ground servicing, briefs passengers, and communicates effectively during operations. Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience: Provides quality service, collaborates with crew and internal partners, resolves service deviations and conflicts. Maintains Proficiency and Compliance: Maintains required training and experience, reports safety concerns, complies with SMS program. Certifications and Licenses FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) First Class Medical Certificate Experience Requirements 4-6 years of experience Total flight time: 3500 hours Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours Pilot in Command: 2000 hours PIC MEL: 500 hours Instrument: 300 hours Jet: 500 hours Salary Range Small/Mid/Supermid: $160,000 - $325,000 Large/Heavy/Premium: $160,000 - $425,000 Benefits We offer a comprehensive package including competitive pay, insurance, 401(k) matching, HSA, FSA, prescription benefits, life insurance, disability coverage, paid parental leave, pet insurance, and paid time off.
