Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

This Graphic Designer position provides the opportunity to work in collaboration with other like-minded creatives as well as various departments and divisions within the company. It will require innovative decision making, attention to detail, and knowing the latest trends and best practices in both digital and print design as well as photography. This position is responsible for the conceptual design, layout, and execution of a variety of projects in the Catalog and Retail space along with Special Projects. Must have an in-depth knowledge of all creative design and production processes for print and digital tactics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Website design for multiple e-commerce platforms, internal websites
  • knowledge of CMS is a plus.
  • Concept and production of logos, packaging, catalogs, various print collateral, E-blasts, promotional products, product renderings/mockups.
  • Layout and design of retail packaging, in-store POP signage and planograms. Studio photography.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BFA, Graphic Design or 2-year design certificate.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
  • Conceptual, out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Expert in Adobe CS Programs - including Adobe XD or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of:
  • Digital art creation and workflow
  • Pre-press and separations for screen and offset printing
  • Art direction and studio photography lighting
  • Must work well under pressure managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Be detail-oriented and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present concepts and layouts to internal design and account teams.
  • Must be highly organized, deadline driven and possess a high level of commitment to quality.
  • Project management from concept through final art.
