Job Title: Entry Level Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking carpenters to join a framing subcontractor team for a rehabilitation project involving two buildings in Springfield. The role entails full-time work initially for four weeks, with potential for extension based on contractor orders. The primary tasks involve removing old wood and replacing it with new wood for a multi-family apartment complex.

Responsibilities

• Perform wood framing for multi-family unit apartment complexes.
• Remove old wood and replace it with new wood.
• Utilize hand and power tools efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with construction safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Framing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in construction and carpentry.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Rough carpentry skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• True framing experience preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Candidates from a trade school program will be considered.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
