Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $32.00 - 32.00

What you’ll do:

Shape the future of truck body design and manufacturing ss the Drafter for (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our manufacturing facility in  , You will create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks, contributing directly to our product development process.

• Generate detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings in SolidWorks based on project requirements and engineering direction.
• Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) for design projects and manage CAD drawing organization within the PDM system.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams to support project needs.
• Create technical drawings and visual aids to support manufacturing processes and sales efforts.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to design improvements and problem-solving.

What you need to be successful:

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer, Drafter, or in a related role
• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD design software
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles (ANSI-Y14.5)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Word)
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
