The ideal candidate with have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and structural components of data centers, as well as experience in budgeting, procurement, and vendor negotiations. This role can be remote with regular and frequent communication with the team in Tulsa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for data center projects, including expansion and upgrades.

• Analyze project requirements, drawings, and specification to determine scope, materials, and labor needs.

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to refine cost projections and ensure accuracy.

• Source and evaluate pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers ensure cost- effectiveness.

• Identify and mitigate potential cost risks and recommend value engineering solutions.

• Prepare and present cost estimates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.

• Maintain and up-t—date database of costs, trends, and market conditions relevant to data center construction.

• Assist in the development of bid proposals, contract negotiations, and procurement strategies.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the estimation process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimation, in data center, mission- critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and civil components in data center construction.

• Skilled in cost tracking, cost analysis, unit pricing, percentage calculations, and post- project performance reviews to ensure accuracy.

• Proficiency in estimating software

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret project specifications and technical documents.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills for internal and external interactions

• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with industry standards.
