The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Chemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

**FULLY ONSITE: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm**

• Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks.
• The daily activities will include dissolution testing and analysis of samples using HPLCs.
• This includes dissolution media preparation, setting up USP apparatus 1 or 2 ready for dissolution testing, conducting the dissolution per the method, preparation of standard and mobile phase dissolutions, followed by sample analysis using HPLC.
• All documentation will be in electronic notebook and HPLC data acquisition system (such as Empower) will be used.
• Apply basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, LIMS/SLIMS, and instrument related systems.
• Presents conclusions of defined experiments.
• Ensures safety and GxP requirements are met when performing tasks.
• Ensures timely and GxP compliant delivery of high-quality precise data.

Qualifications:

• BS (2+ years post-grad) or MS (fresher graduates okay)
• Dissolution experience (preparation of standard OR mobile phase dissolution methods)
• HPLC experience
• ELN experience
• Preferred:
  • USP apparatuses
  • Empower CDS
  • Pharma industry (GMP, GLP, GSP)
  • Method development
  • Experience supporting small molecule drug candidates

Compensation: $28-38 per hour depending on experience
