Job Description

Gibbs Truck Centers- BODY SHOP, established 1969, multi-location dealer group throughout California is seeking highly experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee successful team and productive department. Work with terrific people with wonderful culture! Essential Duties:

  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers. Growth.
  • Coaches, hires, trains, motivates, and monitors team performance.
  • Manages safety
  • Provides quotes for paint & truck repairs.
  • Manages- Insurance claims
  • Monitors progress and completion of repairs.
  • Checks quality of completed work.
  • Prepares final billing for completed repair orders.
  • Follows-up
  • Manages accounts receivables & accounts payable. Works with accounting staff.
  • Maintains & ensures equipment is safe and used properly.
  • Facilitates technical training and sends employees to appropriate training classes.
  • Duties not limited too. Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED required (College- preferred)
  • Knowledge of ADP / CDK preferred or equivalent
  • Mitchell Paint/Body Estimating System or equivalent
  • Body Shop & Auto Painting- preferred
  • Minimum 4-5 years management experience (auto/diesel a plus)
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Sales & relationship building skills
  • Bilingual is a plus
