Silverlight Digital is looking to hire an entry level Associate Digital Media Planner , who will be an integral part of our rapidly expanding Media team.
Silverlight Digital is an independent, boutique digital media agency located in the heart of NYC (work from home currently). With a team of industry-recognized professionals, our team is a well-rounded, energetic group that possesses an extensive knowledge of the digital media landscape. Our team environment allows us to avoid large agency layers, operate at an agile speed, and maintain a true work/life balance…while providing the best media solutions for our clients.
The Associate Digital Media Planner will gain invaluable industry knowledge and exposure, in addition to strategic planning and buying experience across a variety of verticals, such as pharmaceutical, financial services, retail, travel and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with planning and buying digital media across Publisher Direct Display, Video, Mobile, Programmatic, Social Media and Connected TV
- Provide campaign performance compilation and analysis
- Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations for Client recommendations
- Ownership of day-to-day campaign management tasks (i.e. pacing, optimizations, etc.)
- Gain understanding of online campaign management trafficking/ad serving systems, media technologies
- Build relationships/partnerships with media vendors, ad tech companies, and agency partners
- Support day-to-day account management, including direct client interaction, project coordination, and ensuring smooth execution of deliverables across cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as account management, finance, and search/social
- Troubleshoot and escalate potential issues in a proactive manner
- Review industry trades for new sites, innovative and creative ad units and technologies, as well as competitive information
Qualifications:
- 0 - 2 years of digital media planning/buying within an agency or client environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, comfort level with client interaction
- Highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Ad Serving (i.e. DoubleClick) and Bid Management technologies (DSPs, Facebook, Adwords) is a big positive, but not mandatory
- Ability to use syndicated research platforms (i.e. comScore, Kantar)
· Effective time management skills, ability to multitask, prioritize proactively, and produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment that promotes growth and collaboration, as well as work independently
· Highly detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Strong analytical mindset
