Welder
$2,500 SIGN ON BONUS

TIG Welder Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operate hand-welding equipment to join metal components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, instructions, formulas, and/or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding in agreement with the customer's design specifications.
- Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances.
- Communicate and problem solve with others in a reasonable and professional manner and work effectively in a team environment.
- Maintain and keep welding equipment in good working order - free of debris and perform proper maintenance.
- Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work area.
- Follow established safety procedures and work safely all day.
- Accurately read, interpret, and fabricate from manufacturing and/or customer provided blueprints to meet welding specifications
- Follow all relative ISO 9000 procedures.
- Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports.
- Accurately read weld symbols and pass all weld tests to advance to more complex projects
- Weld within tight tolerances
- Full Time Position: work 1st shift Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM plus OT!

TIG Welder Knowledge/Education: - Minimum of one year of welding/fabrication experience with certification in MIG/TIG welding.
- GTAW and GMAW welding abilities required
- TIG Welding experience on 1/16" aluminum and stainless steel to 1/2" thick
- Understanding of distortion control
