Responsibilities The interpreter will provide professional interpreting services primarily in healthcare settings. Assignments are based in Los Angeles and are available on a regular basis, depending on the demand for specific languages and the interpreters qualifications. Qualifications Fluency in both Vietnamese and English Demonstrated experience providing accurate, complete, and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community settings, with the highest level of fidelity to the original communication Strong ability to interpret orally between Vietnamese and English in both directions Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds Skilled in meeting the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, government agencies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders Combination of formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience Willingness to obtain required medical clearances, including vaccination/immunization records and background checks, as necessary Possession of a valid California license About Us Interlingva is a professional interpreting and translation agency providing services across the United States.
