Job Title: Diesel MechanicJob Description

A well-established heavy-duty truck service center in Tulsa is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join its team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and commercial vehicles. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts departments to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in diesel repair and maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and hydraulic components.
• Experience with engine repair and transmission servicing.
• Skill in conducting DOT inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Competence in using diagnostic equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with trailer repair.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is semi-climate controlled and features a very clean shop. The position operates on a first shift, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
