Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel job in Cleveland, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician
• Discipline: Allied Health Professional
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights, flexible, rotating
• Employment Type: Travel

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Active CRCST or CSPDT certification
• Minimum 8 years of experience in sterile processing
• National Sterile Processing Certification required
• Strong knowledge of AAMI standards
• Ability to process 5 trays per hour
• Capable of working independently
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of sterile processing experience in a Level I Trauma Center

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Active CRCST or CSPDT certification
• Must meet one of the following:
  • At least 1 year of Central Service hospital experience in medical instrument processing
  • Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program with a grade of C or better
  • Current student in an accredited sterile processing program with a C or better average and relevant processing experience
