Job Description & RequirementsCCU / PCU RN – Combined Unit\n\n• Beds: 12 total (6 CCU / 6 PCU)\n• Ratios: CCU 1:2 | PCU 1:3–4\n• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n• Experience: 2+ years preferred | Drip titration required\n• Common Diagnoses: Sepsis, respiratory distress, DKA, OD/ETOH withdrawal\n• Drips: Levophed, insulin, dopamine, heparin\n\nSupport & Equipment:\n• Charge RN each shift | House Supervisor nights & weekends\n• Nurse aides available\n• RT equipment: vents, CPAP, BiPAP, oximizer\n• Telemetry with monitor techs; RNs must read strips\n\nSchedule:\n • 12-hr shifts (6:00–6:30) | Self-scheduling (6 weeks out)\n• Weekends: 4 shifts per 6-week schedule\n• Holidays: 1 major + 1 minor if within contract\n• Call: As needed only\n\nFloating: Med-Surg if needed | ER only if ER-experienced\nDress Code: Navy blue scrubs\nOrientation: 1 day facility + 1–2 days unit orientation
