First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Requirements:

5+ year(s) of Exp.

Note: Epic exp required, within past 12 months preferred. Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties. Please screen if more than 2 and meets requirements.

ACLS, BLS Required.

NIHSS, TNCC Preferred.
Trauma Level I Required.

 

Description:

Evening/Night, 8/12 hr shifts, required to work 19:00-07:30 and every other weekend. Holiday rotation required.

Experience:
Must have experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc).
ICU experience with adult populations required.
Must be willing to work with IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.
Traveler must have experience in an Academic level 1 Trauma center.
Successfully completed travel assignment (13 weeks).
Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
Epic experience required – preferred within the last 12 months

Licensure and Certification:
Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.??
BLS and ACLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY

Telemetry
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Supports and/or engages in Shared Governance at University Hospital.?

Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:
Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
Floating - Travelers are the first to float.?Depending on the current staffing needs,?the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department in order to complete the contract.
