Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour night shifts Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities required • Perform technical CT procedures under direction of Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist • Create diagnostic images using CT technology while providing patients with safe and positive experience • Conduct CT exams on various patient types including outpatients, inpatients, intensive care patients, research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures • Work in fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment • Support trauma and emergency room scanning operations • Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances • Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate • New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice required • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required • Entry level position with MIT Level assignment based on skill set and experienceFacility:
