Summary

Are you a finance enthusiast eager to dive into the world of accounting and finance? Join us as an Accounting & Finance Intern and embark on an exciting journey. Work closely with our financial experts and gain hands-on experience in general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial planning and analysis, and Treasury. Collaborate with various groups within multiple companies and expose yourself to different accounting and financial systems.

Responsibilities

Intern will be exposed to and involved in the following aspects of accounting and finance to include, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial planning and analysis and Treasury. Interns will collaborate with various groups within multiple companies and gain exposure to different accounting and financial systems.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4-year Accredited College or University pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Overall GPA 3.0 or above.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday; and frequently access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices.
• The associate is regularly required to move about the office and around the facility. The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business purposes.
• The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.

Travel Required

• Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 10% of the time and on a domestic basis).

Intern must reside in the Houston or surrounding areas during the duration of the internship.
