Job Description
We are looking for a Structural Steel Estimator to join our team and help us develop bids for structural steel projects. The Structural Steel Estimator will be responsible for researching, estimating, and submitting bids for structural steel projects, as well as providing support to the sales and engineering teams in pre-construction meetings. This position requires a strong understanding of structural steel design, steel erecting, and project management.
- Position Overview: The Structural Steel Estimator is responsible for preparing and submitting bids for structural steel projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Research and estimate structural steel projects.
- Develop bid documents for structural steel projects.
- Attend pre-construction meetings and provide support to the sales and engineering teams.
- Ensure all bills of materials match the project scope.
- Monitor and track structural steel project progress.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in estimating and/or structural steel.
- Strong understanding of structural steel design and steel erecting.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
