Job description:
Reports to the Warehouse Manager and Division Leader. Drives company straight truck to deliver cases, pails, kegs, drums and bulk motor oils, lubricants, and other products to local residential and commercial customers. Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders.
Essential Functions:
• Follow company guidelines and procedures and maintain excellent Customer Service Standards.
• Drives company straight truck to deliver cases, pails, kegs, drums and bulk motor oils, lubricants, and
other products to local residential and commercial customers.
• Support distribution process by transporting, transferring, and delivering fuels and/or related products
between customers, vendors, and bulk plants to ensure product is available and services are provided.
• Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of warehouse, cleaning warehouse, restocking inventory.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets safely and securely for shipping
• Notify Division Leader of any equipment that is not functioning properly or in need of repair.
• Responsible for accurate product control.
• Protect the assets of the company.
Non-Essential Functions:
• Communicate effectively with Leader any customer concerns, complaints, product requests, etc.
• Must be able to climb in and out of truck and sit for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift 110 pounds without assistance.
• Must have the ability to bend, squat, lift, push and pull frequently.
• Ability to operate a forklift and manual transmission truck.
Requirements: Must have valid driver's license and driving record must meet minimal safety requirements. Must be 21 years old and have high school diploma or GED equivalent. Class A or Class B CDL required with HAZMAT endorsement also must have a Fed Med card. Proven work experience as a truck driver. Ability to operate manual transmission.
