Responsibilities

• Produce X-ray quality welds for both stainless and carbon steel structures and pipes.
• Expertly weld with MIG, and TIG for both stainless and carbon steel structures and pipes. Experience with all three processes is preferred.
• Layout and weld mild steel and stainless steel for heavy and light structures, frames, skids, piping, tanks, sheet metal, and other fabrication projects.
• Maintain high-quality welds in a safe manner.
• Ensure a productive, efficient, and safe workplace through common sense practices, sound judgment, and proactive measures.
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
• Understand and adhere to the defined scope of work.
• Communicate and/or resolve problems in an organized and detailed manner.
• Efficiently perform welding shop work.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the layout, fitting, and welding of structural steel, pipe, plate, and sheet metal.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Expert-level knowledge of welding methods and quality control.
• Working knowledge of tools and equipment, including overhead cranes, saws, ironworkers, shears, brakes, and welding equipment.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with managers, field personnel, customers, and employees.

Steel Fabrication


From design to installation, we use advanced equipment for cutting, burning, punching, forming, rolling, and welding steel. We work both in our shop and in the field on projects such as:

• Tanks
• Structural steel
• Skids
• Miscellaneous iron
• Platforms and catwalks
• Piping
• Ducting

Pay: $22-$28
