Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and professional staff accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would be able to multitask and manage a wide array of corporate and partnership clients. Strong bookkeeping skills and the ability to work with a multitude of different businesses is a must. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who can complete the task at hand with minimal oversight. Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements using QuickBooks Online and Desktop software
• Bank, payroll and liability account reconciliations
• Chart of Account Management
• Coordinate with CPAs for tax planning and advice
• Worker’s Compensation audits
• Sales and Use Tax Returns
• Property Tax Returns
• City Tax and License renewals
• Annual 1099 filing
• Basic office and organizational skills
• Maintaining relationships with assigned clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma required (college degree preferred)
• Minimum 3 years bookkeeping and accounting experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Desktop products
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multitask
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Lacerte tax software is a plus
