About the job
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the books of multiple companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger reconciliations, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities in the pharmaceutical and medical device space.

Responsibilities

Record, track and reconcile sales transactions
Record and reconcile cash and credit card transactions
Oversea the A/P function by recording invoices and reviewing A/P aging schedules
Oversea the A/R function by maintaining receivables and reviewing A/R aging schedules
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory level forecasting\
Preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger
Perform month-end close procedures including key account reconciliations and adjusting entries
Prepare monthly financial statements and related supporting schedules.
Calculate and reconcile periodic commissions and payroll submissions
Assist with the budgeting
Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
Identify opportunities for improvement, cost reductions and systems enhancements
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
1-3 years' of experience in accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
