Job Description
REMOTE Sr. Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Design
Key Responsibilities - Lead the design of HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop integrated HVAC solutions.
- Utilize Revit to create detailed design models and technical documentation for HVAC systems.
- Perform load calculations and system analysis to optimize HVAC performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Proficiency in Revit and other design software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, load calculations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
