Overview Software Engineer - Python/Golang - Kubernetes role at Canonical. This is a remote position available in EMEA and the Americas. Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in cloud, data science, AI, engineering, and IoT initiatives. The company is founder-led, profitable and growing, with 1000+ colleagues in 70+ countries and a distributed collaboration model. Teams meet two to four times per year in person at locations around the world to align on strategy and execution. This role sits on our Kubernetes product team. As a member, you will help build operators and addons that provide lifecycle management for mission-critical components and a zero-ops experience for integrating projects into Kubernetes. You will work with the latest Kubernetes features and open-source best practices to deliver value to end-users, collaborating with industry peers and partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a software engineer who is passionate about open source software, Linux, Golang, Python and Kubernetes. Location: Remote position available in EMEA and the Americas.
