Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Management (SCM) Architect who brings more than 15 years of software development experience and a proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives. Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years’ practical experience in o9 platform development and implementation , along with experience designing and delivering several solutions as an architect.

This is a strategic leadership role that demands deep functional knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to drive innovation across different modules like Demand Planning, Supply Planning, MEIO, MFP, S&OP etc

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance SCM solutions on the o9 platform using software architectural methodologies and guidelines
• Translate complex business requirements into robust, future-ready solution architectures.
• Champion industry best practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and technology standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integration strategies.
• Guide development teams through technical challenges, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Oversee program execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Monitor system performance and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, addressing technical concerns and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years of comprehensive experience in software development, including more than 12 years specialising in SCM modules.
• 4+ years of experience in o9 platform implementation, with at least two projects led as Solution Architect.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning concepts: Demand, Supply, Inventory, MEIO, MFP, S&OP etc.
• Experience with SCM products or platforms such as BY, Kinaxis, Anaplan, etc., is considered beneficial.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Snowflake, and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with enterprise tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, Airflow, Confluence Cloud.
• Prior consulting experience and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $ 138,000 - $162,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
