Founded in 2019, we are a US based startup revolutionizing FDA-cleared capabilities within the dental industry utilizing AI and Computer Vision to elevate efficiency, accuracy and consistency around the world.

We are seeking a highly-skilled Remote Software Engineering Manager to lead our development team in creating high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with Node.js, React, and AWS along with experience in managing engineering teams and projects. This role involves overseeing the software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed, and driving the technical vision of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications using Node.js and React.
• Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery within deadlines.
• Drive the adoption of Agile development methodologies within the engineering team.
• Design and architect scalable microservices to meet business requirements.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability are maintained throughout the development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js and React
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering management role (there are currently 4 members on this team)
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture
• Experience with microservice architecture and system design principles
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
