Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee patient care by managing and supervising personnel across diverse categories to ensure continuous and comprehensive care for patients and their families.
Utilize knowledge of management principles, productivity management, nursing practice, communication, teaching/learning principles, and nursing theories to plan and evaluate patient care.
Demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving, delegation, interviewing, observation, counseling, and teaching skills.
Evaluate personnel, assess the environment, and prioritize care to plan, implement, and evaluate care outcomes.
Maintain composure and perform well in a fast paced environment
Requirements:
California RN license
Current BCLS certification
National RN Certification preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor of Nursing required or enrolled. Master's Degree is a bonus
Minimum of two years in an acute care management position
