Behavior Solution Inc. actively seeks an RBT Paraprofessional, Under the supervision of a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Paraprofessionals provide one-to-one instruction for children with Autism and related developmental disabilities, in their home or community.
Enjoy a rewarding position working collaboratively with a BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy. A therapist MUST be able to commute with most cases located across to cases around Long Island, NY.

Cases schedules: Monday - Friday from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Weekends 8:30-5:30 Saturdays and Sundays

Therapist must be reliable and consistent.
$500 Sign on Incentive!

We provide tuition support!

$1000 After one year of employment

 Responsibilities :

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 home setting utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
• Implement programs written by the case supervisor
• Assist in foresting autonomy with dignity and respect
• Complete case documentation
• Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions
• Deliver 1:1 instruction consistent with best practice in ABA therapy
• Collect detailed behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
• Logging all data accurately.
• Be responsive to the needs and direction of clients, their families and supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enthusiastic about helping children and their families
• Skilled written and verbal communicator
• Strong ability to collaborate and build rapport with team members focused on client well being
• Ability to self-manage a flexible schedule
• Previous experience with children and adults with special needs and/or RBT certification a plus
• Willingness to grow with organization and complete RBT 40-hour certification process with full company support within 90 days (about 3 months) of hire.
• Experience/Education in fields such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. preferred.
• High School Diploma
