Job Description

Martin Wine and Spirits , family-owned and operated since 1946, is seeking a Receiving and Delivery Manager .

Receiving and Delivery Manager Responsibilities :

• Organize and maintain back stock and shelf stock
• Input and receive transfers between the stores and the company warehouse
• Receive product from local wholesale and other vendors
• Schedule and train stock and delivery crew
• Stage, route, and dispatch deliveries
• Maintain overall condition and appearance of the warehouse and company vehicles
• Maintain security of product in warehouse
• Act as a liaison with customer service, the deli and gourmet departments for their warehouse and vendor needs

Receiving and Delivery Manager Requirements:

• Education: Associates degree or some college required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) years related experience required; warehouse, retail and management experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Responsible Vendor Certification required.
• Skills: Typing, data entry, pc/windows, reading, writing, calculating and answering multiple phone lines.
• Physical Abilities: Regular standing, walking and talking or hearing; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands/arms, stooping, kneeling or bending, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, climbing (ladder), work with pallet jack and box crusher.
