Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare company based in New York City, is seeking a freelance Project Manager to start as soon as possible. In this hybrid role, you'll play a pivotal role in managing key healthcare and pharmaceutical client projects, spanning from FDA approval milestones to unbranded disease campaigns. Your project management expertise will be essential in delivering impactful work that moves the needle for our clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including creative, strategy, digital, and media—to ensure the seamless execution of multiple projects, while maintaining precision and attention to detail.

• Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) - New York, NY
• Hours: 20-35 hours per week
• Compensation: Up to $55/hour

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and upkeep of project timelines, budgets, and other key processes for various healthcare client programs.
• Partner with integrated teams to ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, make adjustments as necessary, and provide regular status updates to both internal teams and clients.
• Proactively identify and manage potential risks, adjusting project plans as needed to ensure smooth execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing updates, and adjusting deadlines when required.
• Support the Senior Project Manager in overseeing financials, including vendor expenses, revenue forecasts, and project profitability.
• Develop and track resource plans to ensure team success, anticipating resource needs and potential gaps.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of project management experience, preferably within an agency setting (PR, social media, advertising, branding, production, or localization).
• Proven ability to manage integrated workstreams with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, especially client-facing, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask and take ownership of projects in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
