Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A forward-thinking pharmacy client is hiring a PRN Pharmacist to support weekend operations at their dispensary location in Vienna, VA. This is a great opportunity to join a new and growing space in healthcare with strong potential for future expansion.
Position Details:
Start: ASAP
Schedule: PRN coverage focused on weekends (FridaySunday)
Setting: Retail cannabis dispensary
Software: Metrc (Cannabis industry system)
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with patients on cannabis usage, dosing, and product selection
Educate on methods of administration and potential effects
Dispense products in pliance with local/state regulations
Train and guide new pharmacy staff as needed
Ensure safety and accuracy in all pharmacist duties
What You Need:
Active Virginia Pharmacist License
At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
Flexible schedule and strong munication skills
Interest in learning a new, regulated healthcare niche
Cannabis experience is a plus, but not required. prehensive training and product education provided.
