Job Description

We are currently seeking a Pricing Actuary with GLM/Machine learning experience to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining GLM/ML models of the company’s programs in WTW Radar software
• Maintain and monitor the company’s rating models to help identify rating structure improvements
• Work with Actuarial, Product and Underwriting to review rating structures on new and existing programs
• Conduct regular rate analyses and support product and underwriting with rate indications
• Assist with rate filing support and communication with state departments
• Collaborate with management and other departments on ad hoc pricing and actuarial requests

Qualifications:

• Experience using WTW Radar software
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related discipline
• 3 years of actuarial/modelling experience
• Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and SQL
• Ability to answer qualitative questions quantitatively
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; ability to communicate complex and challenging topics to colleagues and stakeholders in simple, easy-to-understand language
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and research skills
