Job Description
Personal Assistant Responsibilities:
Oversee daily home operations and maintain an orderly, well-functioning environment.
Manage household schedules, upkeep, and vendors (cleaners, handyman, deliveries, maintenance).
Coordinate repairs, service appointments, and ongoing home projects.
Maintain household inventory; track and reorder supplies as needed.
Keep shared spaces tidy and prepared (kitchen, living room, entryway, etc.).
Run local errands (dry cleaning, returns, pharmacy pick-ups, gift sourcing).
Assist with personal projects, organization, and seasonal planning.
Maintain organizational systems across the home (closets, pantry, children’s areas).
Oversee laundry flow (may assist at times, but mainly ensuring smooth systems).
Manage digital files, receipts, household manuals, and contacts.
Create checklists and routines to ensure efficiency and ease.
Moving items to and from the off-site storage unit.
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Manage calendars, appointments, reservations, and bookings.
Office Manager Responsibilities:
Making sure the fridge is stocked with drinks
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Ordering and managing office supplies.
Managing office equipment (printers, phones, computers)
Coordinating maintenance requests as necessary, either with building management or outside vendors.
Coordinating furniture deliveries. We may have a couple of those in the first several months.
Coordinating the cleaning crew. We should probably have someone clean the office 2-4x per month.
Upfront “set up”.
