🩺 Locum APP (NP/PA) – Observation Unit & ED Support
📍 Bath, New York | Emergency Department Setting

🔹 Job Overview:

We are seeking a flexible and reliable Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a rural Observation Unit and Emergency Department in Ira, NY. The role includes independent coverage of a 2–3 bed Observation Unit and assisting in the ED when not rounding.

🔧 Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shifts: 12-hour (7a–7p or 7p–7a) – Must be flexible with both shifts
• Observation Unit: Manage 2–3 patients independently
• Emergency Department: Support under direct supervision of ED physician
• Census: 26 patients/day; ~9,500/year
• Documentation: EPIC
• Coverage Model: Single provider

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified (NP/PA)
• Active NY License & DEA – Required
• ACLS, BLS Certifications – Required
• Ability to work shift blocks
• New grads welcome

🚗 Travel & Lodging:

• Mileage or rental car and hotel lodging reimbursed
