StaffWerk is currently in search of compassionate and reliable Patient Escorts to join our ongoing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients within healthcare facilities, providing comfort and assistance during their visits. Responsibilities
- Escort patients to and from various departments within the healthcare facility, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist patients with mobility challenges and provide support as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate services
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and address any questions or concerns patients may have
- Assist with transporting medical equipment and supplies as needed
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Compassionate and patient-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for long periods and assist patients with mobility
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
Pay Rate:
$18.29 per hour
