Description

We are hiring Patient Escorts to join a leading medical center in Houston, TX. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. As a Patient Escort, you will assist in safely transporting patients via wheelchair or stretcher throughout the hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• S afely escort patients to and from their appointments using wheelchairs or stretchers
• Sanitize transport equipment before and after each use using hospital protocol
• Accurately complete disinfection and tracking logs, including patient MRN, transport time, equipment details, etc.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to patients and caregivers
• Follow equipment checklists and mobility safety procedures
• Navigate independently throughout the medical campus
• Push wheelchairs/stretchers carrying patients weighing 200 lbs or more

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of patient care and/or customer service experience
• Ability to push 200 lbs or more safely and consistently

Preferred:

• Experience in a hospital or clinical environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A professional and empathetic demeanor

Shift & Compensation:

• Part-time schedules (shifts to be discussed)
• Competitive hourly pay
