Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and caring Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will conduct treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will also maintain a positive working relationship with other health professionals and ancillary staff.. Responsibilities

• Assisting in supplementing, enhancing, and extending occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).
• Completing tasks related to assessment, intervention, treatment, and activities to enhance motor, sensory, self-regulatory, feeding, and other functional abilities.
• Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care and Gathering information about the patient's health, goals, environment, and support system.
• Implementing treatment plans and helping patients perform therapeutic activities.
• Communicate effectively with other professional and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Providing feedback to the OTR on the client's progress during treatment.

Qualifications

• Must have current Occupational therapy Assistant license
• Communication skills. Occupational therapy Assistant must clearly explain treatment programs, motivate patients, and listen to patients' concerns in order to provide effective therapy.
• CPR Certified
