Job Description
Cyntel Technologies is currently seeking a Nuclear Engineer for a program located in Reston, VA. Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with current CI polygraph preferred Nuclear Engineer MID: This person will support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific/engineering research; reverse engineering analysis/characterizations; and facility and vulnerability assessments on foreign nuclear capabilities. This includes, but not limited to, nuclear engineering and sub-disciplines of thermo-hydraulics; seismic/earthquakes; physics; computational science; and/or fission reactor engineering. Must Haves:
• 3+ years of experience supporting nuclear engineering research
• Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering, engineering technologies, or a physical science field. • Active TS/SCI clearance Nice to Haves:
• Knowledge of nuclear sub-disciplines like thermos-hydraulics, seismic events, physics, computational science, or fission reactor engineering
• Work experience at a national-level agency
