Are you passionate about the manufacturing industry and have a keen interest in plant engineering? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Junior Plant Engineer to join our team. With training, you will become an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our manufacturing processes. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver our products.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:
1. Assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment (both manual and automated), focusing on scalability and efficiency.
2. Participate in the development and maintenance of plant layouts, manufacturing methods, and production workflows.
3. Use AutoCAD to create detailed designs and specifications for complex machinery and systems.
4. Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
5. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
6. Comply with ISO 9001 standards and contribute to the maintenance of our certification.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
9. Participate in the training of manufacturing personnel on new or updated procedures and equipment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Junior Plant Engineer position should possess the following:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plant engineering.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and CNC programming and operation.
4. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and certification process.
5. Strong knowledge of production design and safety regulations.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various departments.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks.
10. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
