Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of a team that handles a wide variety of legal issues, including products liability, civil litigation and general negligence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the legal industry, with a strong emphasis on litigation. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with our partners and other attorneys to serve our clients and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of products liability, general negligence, and other litigation matters.
2. Draft, review, and file various legal pleadings, motions, and briefs.
3. Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and litigation strategy.
4. Represent clients in court, before governmental agencies, or in private legal matters.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members.
6. Defend and take depositions, including preparation of witnesses.
7. Advocate for clients and negotiate settlements when appropriate.
8. Provide legal advice to clients and advise on legal rights and obligations.
9. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in civil litigation, products liability and general negligence.
3. Active licensure in the state of Texas.
4. Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
5. Proven experience in drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
6. Demonstrated experience in defending depositions.
7. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
