The property currently consists of our hotel, which boasts 70+ hotel rooms, a locally favorite restaurant, Harry's Ocean Bar & Grill, and of course beach service. The resort is also proud to have Cape May’s only oceanfront liquor store – The Wine Cellar at Harry’s. The Montreal Beach Resort has recently been acquired by Madison Resorts, with plans to offer a complete renovation to this already beautiful property.

Summary:

The Liquor Store Clerk/Cashier provides exceptional guest service while performing cashier duties at Cape May’s only oceanfront liquor store – The Wine Cellar at Harry’s.

Responsibilities:

• Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
• Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
• Stock-priced items ready to be merchandised on the sales floor in accordance with our company standards.
• Operates the Point-of-Sale system and cash register.
• Assists in the maintenance of the store to keep it clean, neat, and organized. Cleaning duties as assigned by the manager.
• Follow all POS/Cash Register Policies in accordance with the policies of the store.
• Maintain safety standards and report any hazards/problems to the manager.
• Work schedules are determined by Management and must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage at all times. Part-time associates may be scheduled to work any part-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Maintain and clean up the area in and around the store shelves and back area at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Cashiering experience preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
