Medix is hiring a licensed health insurance agent for a full time, remote opportunity!

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

• Handle high-volume inbound calls from Medicare-eligible individuals and clients seeking ACA, individual, and family health plans.
• Conduct consultative conversations to explain and compare plan options, ensure compliance, and support informed decision-making.
• Guide clients through plan selection and enrollment applications, providing follow-up calls as needed to finalize enrollments.
• Maintain accurate records and consistently meet performance expectations, including call volume and enrollment goals.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:

• High school diploma
• MUST be licensed as a health AND life insurance agent in one of the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, NV, PA, SC, TX or WI.

Schedule/ Shift:

• Must be available to work full time between the hours of of 7am and 7pm
• Weekends may be required as needed.

Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. If you meet eligibility requirements and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).)
• 401k (eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1)
